MP Raad: Parties Targeting Resistance Arms Seek Dependency to US, “Israel”
Local Editor

Head of Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc, MP Mohammad Raad, believed that parties that are avoiding and hindering dialogue should be aware that they are jeopardizing the security and stability of Lebanon.

On this level, Raad went on to say, "The true problem in Lebanon does not lie in the existence of the resistance weapon; which proved to be able to protect the country, achieve its independence, protect its security, and return its occupied lands. The true problem lies in the absence of the government, its fair institutions, and political forces that should work in accordance to their national duty, rather than achieving privileges on the national interest's expense."

"The resistance weapons is a pride for Lebanon, and those who target it, seek [Lebanon's] dependency to the US and "Israel"," Raad iterated.
"Those who failed in their international war against the resistance are exploiting their men in Lebanon to weaken the resistance through politics, media, misleading, and false statements. The resistance has always kept a distance from taking part in any government, until it felt [some parties] are conspiring against it when resolution 1559 was issued," Head of Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc affirmed.

In the same context, Raad stressed, "We do not seek power; all we need is that they [March 14] stop sabotaging our choice [of resistance], through which we seek to liberate all our land, restore our sovereignty, and achieve dignity to all our people."
Regarding the Lebanese civilians abducted by armed groups In Syria, Raad noted that this issue is receiving intensive research and discussions, believing there are good omens that need little time to become concrete.
