On the backdrop of terrorist explosions that took place in the different Iraqi cities on Wednesday, resulting in the martyrdom and injury of hundreds, Hizbullah issued the following statement:
The different Iraqi cities once again witness a terrorist bloody day in which innocent civilians were killed while they were at their homes, work, or visiting the holy mausoleums.
The only new thing this time though, is that the terrorists carried out more than 30 attacks in the different Iraqi cities, implying their intention to escalate barbaric killing of civilians and the destruction of Iraqi people's will to rise with their country from the dire situation it has come to due to the defeated US occupation.
The different massacres committed by the internal enemies of the Iraqi people is completion to the scheme of toppling the Iraqi national regime, escalating sectarian strife among the Iraqis, and dividing the Iraqi entity in service of the Western-"Israeli" scheme.
Hence, Hizbullah condemns this ugly crime that has targeted the oppressed Iraqi people. Hizbullah also calls on the Iraqis to remain steadfast and reject strife and division. Also, Hizbullah urges the Iraqi people to reject terrorism, asking the Almighty God soon recovery to the wounded and peace to the souls of the martyrs.
