The Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc Member MP Ali Fayyad assured that "Al-Quds day is a chance to reassure adherence to our Resistance as a guarantee to liberating the land and defending its sovereignty, also to guarantee the unity of this nation."
"[This day] is a chance to say we will not allow the "Israeli" enemy to reoccupy our land and subjugate it to its schemes of division and disaccord which has dominated over our political life," Fayyad noted, adding "This day is to reiterate that we will always support the Palestinian people until achieving their goals and build their independent state with al-Quds as its capital."
During an annual Iftar banquet in South Lebanon, Fayyad considered "Ironic it is that supporting the Palestinian people has become an accusation for which the mujahideen and people of resistance are condemned."
This, according to Fayyad, includes pointing fingers at the Resistance for supporting the Palestinian cause, sanctioning and blockading Iran due to supporting Palestine in face of the "Israeli" enemy.
The Hizbullah official stressed the importance of Unity in face of all schemes of sowing division and strife adopted particularly during the meantime.
Also, Fayyad recapitulated ""Israel" is our first and sole enemy, our struggle will remain, and we will remain to stand in face of the Zionist entity in defense of the entire nation, despite their sectarian, political or religious differences."
"We are adherent to the Resistance choice, as we believe it is the guarantee to the unity and future of this nation," Fayyad underscored, echoing support to Palestine, al-Quds, and Islamic unity.
