Maronite Patriarch Bshara al-Rai met Thursday the committee tasked with following up the dialogue between Bkirki and Hizbullah.
The meeting was attended by the committee comprised of Bkirki representatives Bishop Samir Mazloum and Hareth Shehab, Hizbullah envoys Ghaleb Abu Zainab and Mustafa al-Hajj Ali as well as Bkirki's press office director Walid Ghayyad.
During the meeting, al-Rai stressed the importance of "launching dialogue among all the Lebanese fractions according to the spiritual and national principles and values."
Defining the framework within which dialogue would be conducted," the conferees also agreed that "the committee would continue discussions on the aforementioned framework in upcoming periodic meetings."
