Iranian Engineers Kidnapped in Syria Arrive in Tehran after Release

Local Editor

The two Iranian engineers, who were kidnapped by Syrian armed rebels in December 2011, return to Tehran after their release.

Waiting for them at Imam Khomeini airport was Deputy Foreign Minister for consulate affairs Hasan Kashkavi, who was present with an official delegation along with the freed abductees’ families.
It’s worth mentioning, that seven Iranian engineers who worked in an energy station in Syria, were kidnapped by armed rebel groups last year.
