Abdel Karim Ali: Syria Faces International Scheme
Local Editor

The Syrian Ambassador to Lebanon, Ali Abdel Karim Ali, Friday said Syria was subject to an international conspiracy, during his visit to the former Premier Salim Hoss.

Ali regretted the resignation of peace envoy Kofi Annan, holding all countries leading war against Syria the responsibility of his [Annan’s] peace plan’s failure.

"Syria is strong enough to confront those conspiracies, despite the dreadful events, the tragedies and the bloodshed," the Ambassador confirmed.

When asked about Lebanese General Security’s deportation of 14 Syrian citizens, Ali said this handing over was performed according to legal standards.
