4,000 PKK Fighters Transferred to Syrian - Turkish Border
Local Editor

An official at the Iraqi Islamic Supreme Council said that about 4,000 PKK fighters are being transferred to areas north of Qamishli, near the Turkish border, an excuse that Turkey may claim to intervene militarily.
During a seminar held on Thursday, Baqir Jabr al-Zubaidi stated that the fighters were well-trained.

"The Syrian regime is trying to keep on Damascus and Homs for important logistical considerations, based on that Homs is the knot and the only corridor to access the coast," Zubaidi pointed out, adding that "the rest of the Syrian areas could be controlled."
